Norwich University Partners With B2 Networks To Form Cadets Vision

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Norwich University and B2 Networks announced today a multi-year agreement to broadcast NU football and men's ice hockey on the leading broadband broadcast network. Cadets Vision will debut on Sept. 20 with the NU football game against Husson, and all Norwich University home football and men's ice hockey contests this season will be available to fans and alumni worldwide. 

"We are very excited about forming this partnering with B2 Networks," said Christian Anderson, Norwich University Sports Information Director. "I think that providing this new live video streaming experience of NU athletics will help market Norwich University and its athletic program to all of our audiences, both internal and external. I believe our fans, alumni, coaches, student-athletes and prospective students will be pleased with this initiative. I would like to thank the entire team at B2 Networks for helping us during this process. We are looking forward to our initial broadcast on Sept. 20!"

George Commo, the "Voice of Norwich Athletics" will call the action. The radio voice of the Cadets will still be heard over the radio, but that broadcast will now be simulcast with the broadband video feed as well.

Dubbed "Cadets Vision," the new initiative will be available for viewing to audiences around the world through the school's athletics website, www.norwichathletics.com as well as www.b2tv.com. Fans wanting to watch NU football and men's hockey via B2 Networks will need a high-speed Internet connection and a current version of Microsoft Windows Media Player.

Games will be sold on an individual basis for $7 (US). Season packages for football will be available for $25. Season packages for men's ice hockey will also be available for $75. Fans wishing to purchase an archived copy of any Norwich broadcast may do so by accessing B2onDemand at http://www.b2tv.com/od.asp.
