Athletics: Norwich places 63 on GNAC All-Academic Team

FULL GNAC ALL-ACADEMIC LIST

WINTHROP, Mass. – Norwich University placed 63 student-athletes on the 2016-17 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Academic team released by the conference office on Thursday. 

The total tied Norwich's highest in the last five years, with the same number of 63 as last year. The men's lacrosse team accounted for the most Norwich All-Academic team members with 13 student-athletes earning the distinction. 

A total of 894 student-athletes were named to the 2016-17 GNAC All-Academic Team, as announced by GNAC Commissioner Joe Walsh. To be named to the team, student-athletes must have a 3.25 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore.
