Baseball: Donovan Brown Selected To All-GNAC Second Team

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Norwich University baseball player Donovan Brown was honored by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) on Friday as the junior utility player was selected to the all-conference second team.

A native of Corona, Calif., Brown currently leads the team in batting average (.348), hits (24) and total bases (33). He also ranks tied for the team lead with 14 runs batted in and 17 walks. Brown stepped up his performance in GNAC contests, hitting .500 against conference foes with a team-best 12 RBIs.

In addition to Brown's honor, junior outfielder James Ramsay earned a spot on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

Norwich (3-25-1) returns to action on Tuesday, April 28, when the Cadets host Daniel Webster College in a non-league doubleheader at Garrity Field beginning at 2 p.m.
