Football: Cadets Complete Off Season Program; Name 2010 Captains

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Norwich University football team recently concluded its off-season weight-lifting and conditioning program. The Cadets, who will enter the 2010 campaign as the defending Eastern Collegiate Football Conference champions, also announced their captains.

Senior LB Rocco DiMeco, senior LB Mike Ohrenberger and senior OL Don Hanni will serve as the team's captains this fall. All three are returning starters, who will help the Cadets defend their conference crown in 2010.

Norwich finished the 2009 season on an eight-game win streak, the second-longest active streak in all of Division III football.

The Cadets, who put forth a spirited effort during the off-season weight-lifting and conditioning program this spring, will officially reconvene as a unit in mid-August for fall camp.
