2005-06: Made 14 starts and posted a record of 10-3-1 ... recorded 271 saves on 298 shots on goal (.909) ... posted three shutouts ... finished with a 2.04 goals-against-average.

Before Norwich: Played with the Notre Dame Hounds of the SJHL ... graduated from Hanley Composite High School ... also played football, baseball and ran track.

Personal: Son of Patti and Darrell Gieni... has three brothers ... lists his oldest brother, Josh, as his role model ... would like to play professional hockey overseas after following graduation ... majoring in Communications.
