Men's Ice Hockey: Norwich Ranked Fourth In Latest USCHO Poll

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Despite not playing a single game yet, the Norwich men's ice hockey team jumped from fifth to fourth in the latest USCHO poll, released earlier this week.
The Cadets, who open their 2007-08 campaign on Friday, Nov. 16, at Southern Maine, garnered 209 points.
Middlebury College received 10 first-place votes and moved from third to first despite not competing. Manhattanville is ranked second and Wisconsin-River Falls third.
Preseason No. 1 Oswego dropped all the way to ninth after starting the year 1-2-1.
Plattsburgh was the biggest mover, jumping from 14th to fifth as the Cardinals have started 5-0. Included in the perfect start is a victory over Oswego.
