Neal Anderson is in the midst of his second season as the Norwich University men's lacrosse coach. Anderson became the first full-time men's lacrosse coach in the program's history when he was hired last year.
Anderson has prior college lacrosse head coaching experience at Curry College, where served as the head coach for three seasons.
"There is tremendous enthusiasm about lacrosse on the Norwich campus," said Anderson. "I am excited to bring my expertise and build upon this great culture of athletic excellence that exists here."
A 2000 graduate of Merrimack College, Anderson played college lacrosse at the University of New Hampshire and at Merrimack. He served as team captain of the Merrimack squad as a senior. Following his senior campaign, Anderson was named a USILA-NCAA All-American, and was also selected as a USILA-NCAA Academic All-American.
Following graduation, Anderson was selected in the seventh round of the Major League Lacrosse draft by the Boston Cannons. He played in the professional league for seven season, splitting time between the Cannons and the Denver Outlaws.
His previous coaching experience also includes a two-year stint as an assistant coach for the Merrimack College men's lacrosse team.

Carl Mintken embarks upon his second season working with the Norwich men's lacrosse program. He will be assisting primarily with the team's transition game, and the squad's face-off specialists this spring.
Mintken is also an assistant football coach at NU, working with the team's offensive linemen.
Mintken arrived at NU following a one-year stint as running backs coach at Murray State University.
Prior to working at Murray State, Mintken spent three years at Springfield College as a graduate assistant coach. While at Springfield, he helped lead the team to the 2006 Empire 8 Conference championship. His offensive line unit also helped the Pride lead the nation in rushing yards per game in 2006.
Mintken got his start in coaching at Maine Maritime, where he served as an intern assistant coach from 2003-2005. In addition to working with both the offensive and defensive lines, Mintken designed and implemented the strength and conditioning program at Maine Maritime.
Mintken earned a bachelor's degree from Springfield College in 2003, and went onto earn a master's degree from Springfield in 2007.
He played four years of varsity football at Springfield. As one of the team's offensive tackles, he helped lead the Pride to Freedom Football Conference championships in 2000 and 2002. He also helped Springfield earn national rushing titles in 2000 and 2002.

Lee Morse begins his second season assisting head coach Neal Anderson and the Norwich men's lacrosse program. Once again, he will be working primarily with the team's goalkeepers and defensemen.
Prior to arriving at Norwich, Morse served as the head boys' lacrosse coach at Union-32 High School in East Montpelier, Vt., from 2003-2008. Before taking that position, he was the head boys' lacrosse coach at Spaulding High School in Barre, Vt.
Morse played goalie throughout high school, and he went on to play collegiately at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Ore. He was a four-year starter for the Pioneers.
Morse is a U.S. Lacrosse Associate Trainer in Coaching Education, and he has achieved Level 2 as a licensed physical therapist.
He resides in Middlesex, Vt., with his wife Michelle and their
children.
