Men's Soccer: Harlow And Dilley Named All-New England By D3Kicks.com

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Despite concluding its season last November, the Norwich University men's soccer team continues to reap awards as Rob Harlow and Drew Dilley were each named to the All-New England team by D3Kicks.com.
Harlow, who was the Cadets' leader in goals (18), assists (15) and points (51) in 2007, was selected to the second team. The junior forward authored one of the finest individual seasons in Norwich history en route to establishing the NU career goals record. His outstanding play on the field also earned Harlow GNAC "Player of the Year" honors, first team all-conference accolades and NSCAA/Adidas second-team laurels.
Dilley, meanwhile, was named to the D3Kicks.com All-New England third team. A first-team all-conference pick, Dilley listed second on the team in goals (16) and points (36). The Columbia, Pa., product also dished out four assists and ranked tied for second on the club with four game-winning goals.
Norwich head coach Kyle Dezotell was very proud of both Harlow and Dilley.
"For Rob, this award just solidifies the status of his season as being one of the best ever by a Norwich men's soccer player. He now realizes that he only has one year left, so it is time to buckle down and work hard in the gym, in the weight room and especially in the classroom. We are hopeful that he can help lead us deep into the NCAA Tournament next year.
"I am especially pleased for Drew, added Dezotell. "I strongly believe he deserved this award, and that he has proven himself time and again as one of the best outside midfielders in New England over the past three years. Scoring 16 goals from an outside midfield position is almost unthinkable and an unbelievable output. Drew also just had his best semester academically at Norwich which makes me especially happy and proud. Drew has really matured and grown over the last three years, and I know that he is going to have a great off-season leading our team."
Norwich went 19-3-1 during the season and won the GNAC regular season title on the strength of a 9-0-1 league mark. The Cadets went on to capture the program's first ECAC title.
