Jake Pagragan Named ECAC "Defensive Player Of The Week"

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - After recording a pair of shutout victories last week, Norwich men's soccer goalie Jake Pagragan was named the ECAC "Defensive Player of the Week" for the week ending on Sept. 23.

Pagragan was perfect in the team's two games, picking up shutout victories in each of Norwich's two games. The Richland, Ind., native turned away four shots against Johnson State en route to a 3-0 win. Then, he made three saves in NU's 2-0 victory over Albertus Magnus.

In addition to earning ECAC honors, Pagragan also picked up GNAC "Goalie of the Week" laurels for the second straight week.

The Norwich men's soccer team returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 29, when the Cadets host Emmanuel at Howard Field. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m.
