Norwich Blanks St. Joseph's (Maine), 4-0

STANDISH, Maine - Rob Harlow scored twice, and Jake Pagragan notched his second straight shutout as the Norwich men's soccer team blanked St. Joseph's (Maine), 4-0, on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Cadets (13-2-1, 8-0-1 GNAC) moved another step closer to clinching the No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
Harlow scored his first goal in the fourth minute off an assist from Jason Grupp. Halow added his second tally at the 19:06 mark when he took a feed from Jake Yaris and found the back of the net.
Yaris added a goal of his own in the second half, scoring off an assist from Ryan Boyton in the 58th minute. Drew Dilley rounded out the scoring for the Cadets, scoring off an assist from Yaris in the 71st minute.
Pagragan made four saves in net en route to recording his fifth shutout of the season.
NU dominated the stat sheet, outshooting St. Joseph's (Maine), 24-13, while holding a 9-1 edge in corner kicks.
Norwich returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 24, when the Cadets host Emerson at Howard Field in the regular-season finale. NU would clinch the top seed and home field advantage throughout the GNAC tournament with a victory over the Lions. Kickoff for the GNAC match is slated for 3 p.m.
