Norwich Climbs Regional Rankings

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Atop the league standings and closing in on clinching the No. 1 seed in the upcoming GNAC Tournament, the Norwich men's soccer team continued to reap regional recognition this week as the Cadets find themselves ranked within the Top 10 in New England by three separate organizations.

The Cadets (12-2-1, 7-0-1 GNAC) were ranked fifth in New England this week by both the NCAA and D3kicks.com. Additionally, NU is listed 10th in New England by the NSCAA/Adidas poll.

Norwich will look to remain undefeated in conference play when the Cadets travel to St. Joseph's (Maine) on Saturday, Oct. 20, for a 1 p.m. match.
