Swimming & Diving: NU Men Remain Fourth, Women 14th After Day Three at NEISDA's

KINGSTON, R.I. – The Norwich University men's and women's swimming & diving teams competed in day three of the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships, hosted by Regis (Mass.) on Saturday evening.

The Norwich men sit fourth out of 12 teams with 361.5 points while the women's team sits in 14th out of 20 teams with 170 points.

The team of sophomore Austen Greene (Herndon, Va.), junior Dylan Henderson (Commerce Township, Mich.), sophomore Alex DiGiacomo (Norfolk, Mass,) and sophomore Harrison Brock (Alexandria, Va.) took third in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:39.54.


Freshman Cameron Ferriera (Cocoa Beach, Fla.) claimed third in the 400 yard IM in 4:21.97 with junior Matt Clark (Acworth, Ga.) finishing just behind in 4:22.51 for a fourth place finish.

Freshman Joseph Clark (Acworth, Ga.) finished third in the 100 yard backstroke in 54.64.

The team of sophomore Elaine Dudley (North Waterboro, Maine), senior Renee Charboneau (West Springfield, Mass.), sophomore Domonique Ector (Buffalo, N.Y.) and junior Kylee Russell (Swanzey, N.H.) placed 13th in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:59.93.

Sunday's preliminary events begin at 10 a.m. with finals starting at 6 p.m. for the final day of the competition.
