Norwich Places 12th At James Earley Invitational

WESTFIELD, Mass. - The Norwich men's cross country team placed 12th out of 22 teams at the James Earley Invitational on Saturday at Stanley Park.
The Cadets were led to the finish line by John Pomeroy, who placed 47th overall with a clocking of 28:50. John Guarnieri was the second NU harrier to finish the 8,000-meter course, crossing the finish line in 29:30 to take 75th overall.
Zach Charney (30:18), Sean O'Hara (30:24) and Dan Bliss (31:02) rounded out Norwich's Top 5, placing 104th, 109th and 130th, respectively.
Trinity College put five runners in the Top 15 en route to winning the team title.
The Norwich men's cross country team returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 13, when the Cadets travel to Springfield, Mass., to take on WNEC.
