NORTHFIELD, Vt. -The Norwich University softball team was swept by Pine Manor in a GNAC doubleheader on Friday afternoon, losing 17-9 (six innings) and 6-5.

The Cadets fall to 15-15 (11-11 GNAC) following the sweep, while the league-leading Gators improve to 25-8 (19-3 GNAC).

Norwich returns to action on Saturday, April 19, when the Cadets travel to Newton, Mass., to take on GNAC rival Mount Ida in a doubleheader.
