Women's Lacrosse: Ally Daniels Tabbed GNAC "Player Of The Week"

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - After helping lead the Norwich University women's lacrosse team to a perfect 3-0 week, sophomore standout Ally Daniels was selected as the GNAC "Player of the Week" on Tuesday.

Daniels, who is currently leading the Cadets in goals, assists and points, scored 12 goals and added four assists in the team's three games last week.

The Concord, N.H., native scored seven goals, including the game-winning tally with one second to play, in NU's thrilling 15-14 victory over Westfield State on Thursday.

Against Assumption, Daniels scored four goals and added one assist in Norwich's 16-13 win on Tuesday. She added one goal and three assists in the Cadets' 12-1 win over GNAC foe St. Joseph (Conn.) on Sunday.

For the season, Daniels has scored 19 goals and added eight assists.

Norwich (4-1) will put its four-game win streak on the line this Thursday (April 3), when the Cadets take on in-state rival Green Mountain College.
