Wrestling: Brian Zane Competes At NCAA Championships

WATERLOO, Iowa - Norwich senior wrestler Brian Zane competed at the NCAA Championships on Friday, March 7, dropping a pair of matches to nationally-ranked opponents.

The Franklinville, N.J., native opened competition in the 133-pound draw by dropping a 7-2 decision to top-seeded Adam Johnson of North Central in his first match. Zane then lost, 13-8, to eighth-seeded Jestin Hulegaard of Buena Vista in the consolation bracket.

Zane finishes the season with a 19-7 record. He closes out his stellar collegiate career with an overall mark of 98-26.
