Women's Soccer: Magnus & Scully Named To GNAC All-Tournament Team

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Katie Magnus and Becky Scully were both named to the GNAC All-Tournament Team after helping lead the Cadets to a semifinal appearance in the conference playoffs.

Magnus, who was also selected to the GNAC all-conference team, was part of the Norwich defense that produced nine shutouts in 2007. The senior, who hails from nearby Waterbury, Vt., appeared in 17 games for the Cadets. She registered one goal and one assist on the year.

Magnus was solid in Norwich's two tournament games, netting the Cadets' first goal in their 3-2 overtime loss to Emmanuel in the conference semifinals.

Scully, who appeared in 18 games during the season, notched a pair of assists in Norwich's 2-1 victory over Lasell in the quarterfinals.
