Women's Swimming & Diving: NU Closes Dual Meet Season With 71-42 Loss At St. Michael's

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Sarah Gardner and Molly Patterson won events in the pool, and Victoria Amador captured the one-meter diving event as the Norwich women's swimming and diving team dropped a 71-42 decision at St. Michael's on Tuesday evening.

Gardner led the NU effort in the pool, taking gold in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking a time of 7:41.31.

Patterson, meanwhile, won the first-place ribbon in the 200-yard breaststroke, touching the wall in a time of 3:07.17.

Amador, who has improved on the boards all season long, won the one-meter diving event with a score of 142.75 points.

The Cadets close out their dual meet schedule with a record of 0-11.

Norwich returns to action Feb. 15-17, when the Cadets travel to Dartmouth, Mass., to compete at the New England Championships.
