Women's Swimming & Diving: Norwich Swept In Tri-Meet
NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Norwich University women's swimming and diving team lost a tri-meet to Bates and University of New England Saturday afternoon at Goodyear Pool. The Cadets lost to Bates, 118-16, and lost to New England, 94-24.
Norwich falls to 0-5 on the season, following the sweep.
Anne-Marie Vayda paced the Cadets in the pool, winning the 50-yard breaststroke (33.91 seconds) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.08). She chipped in a third-place showing in the 100-yard individual medley with a clocking of 1:10.98.
Norwich returns to action on Sunday, Jan. 11, when the Cadets tangle with Colby College at Goodyear Pool.
