Women's Swimming & Diving: Norwich Finishes 18th At New England Championships

DARTMOUTH, Mass. - Anne-Marie Vayda capped a strong weekend by placing 10th in the 200-yard breaststroke, and leading the Norwich University women's swimming and diving team to an 18th-place finish at the New England Championships Sunday afternoon.
Vayda, who racked up Top 10 finishes in the 50- and 100-yard breaststroke events earlier in the weekend, took 10th in the 200 breaststroke with a clocking of 2 minutes, 36.89 seconds.
The Cadets amassed 62 points to finish 18th out of 22 teams. Keene State accumulated 899 points to win the team title. Bentley placed runner-up with 830 points, while Saint Michael's (514 points) finished a distant third.
