Norwich Rips Castleton State, 3-0

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Norwich women's volleyball continued its winning ways on Wednesday night, defeating Castleton State, 3-0, at Andrews Hall. The Cadets, who have won five straight matches, improve to 15-7 on the season. The Spartans, meanwhile, fall to 2-16.
Norwich had little trouble in defeating Castleton State for the second time this season, winning by game scores of 30-9, 30-9 and 30-12.
The Cadets were led by Molly Rice, who posted 11 assists, 10 service aces, seven digs and five kills. Lisset Magdaleno chipped in with six digs and six kills, while Ami Fuller added a team-high seven kills. Keira Holmes contributed eight service aces.
Norwich returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 27, when the Cadets travel to St. Joseph (Conn.) for their regular season finale. First serve is slated for 1 p.m.
