Norwich Shuts Out St. Joseph's (Maine), 3-0

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Molly Rice registered a double-double, and Ami Fuller led NU in kills for the second straight match as the Norwich volleyball team won its third straight contest on Saturday afternoon, defeating St. Joseph's (Maine), 3-0, at Andrews Hall.

The Cadets (13-7, 7-4 GNAC) cruised to easy wins in the first two games-winning by scores of 30-16 and 30-13-before taking game three, 33-31.

Rice, who has been consistent for Norwich all season long, led the Cadets with 23 assists and 12 digs. Fuller, meanwhile, smacked a team-best 14 kills.

Lisset Magdaleno chipped in with eight kills and five total blocks, while Keira Holmes added 10 service aces. Sondra Connelly reached double figures in digs, recording 10 during the match.
