Volleyball: Magdaleno And Rice Earn All-GNAC Laurels

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Junior middle hitter Lisset Magdaleno (Whittier, Calif.) and sophomore setter Molly Rice (Sunapee, N.H.) were named to the All-GNAC team, it was announced by the league office on Monday.

Magdaleno, who paced the Cadets in kills (261), digs (243) and blocks (70), was named to the conference's first team.

Rice, meanwhile, was named to the league's second unit after a season in which she led the team in assists (533), and ranked second on the club in service aces (41) and digs (234).

The Cadets (16-8) were selected to participate in the 2008 ECAC Tournament, which begins on Wednesday, Nov. 12, with a first round matchup at Plymouth State. First serve is slated for 6 p.m.
