Volleyball: Johnson & Wales Blanks Norwich, 3-0
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Norwich University volleyball team was swept by GNAC rival Johnson & Wales, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats won by set scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-10.
Norwich (14-5, 6-3) was led by sophomore Alicia Chamness, who registered team-highs in kills (six) and digs (15). Fellow sophomore Molly Rice dished out a team-best 14 assists to go along with six digs, while freshman Brittany Palmer chipped in five kills and five digs.
Norwich returns to action later today (Oct. 25) when the Cadets take on conference foe Rivier at 2 p.m.
