Cadets Place Third At Panther Invitational

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Maura Kee finished 12th and Jaclyn McElligott took 13th to lead the Norwich women's cross country team to a third-place finish at the Panther Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Kee clocked a team-best time of 21 minutes, 58.50 seconds, while McElligott finished in a time of 22:31.00.

Heather Flavell placed 18th with a time of 23:58.00, while Scarlette Grasetti (24:25.60) and Savanna Tanski (24:42.50) finished 20th and 21st, respectively.

Desislava Slavova rounded out NU's list of Top 30 finishers, taking 28th with a clocking of 31:09.00.

The Norwich women's cross country team resumes its 2007 slate on Friday, Sept. 21, when the Cadets trek to Nashua, N.H., to battle Rivier.
