Men's Basketball: Cadets bested by Lasers, 90-65

NEWTON, Mass. - The Norwich University men's basketball team fell on the road on Tuesday evening, as the Lasell College Lasers dispatched the Cadets by a 90-65 final score in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play. 

Lasell came out on fire, going 12-24 from three and seeing three different Lasers reach double-digit points in the first half on their way to a 53-23 halftime lead. The action remained in the Lasers' control in the second half, as they coasted to the 90-65 victory.

Donovan Lewis Jr. (Savannah, Ga.) led Norwich with 20 points on 10-16 shooting from the floor to go with six rebounds, while Jesse Davis (Woodinville, Wash.) poured in 17 points on 6-11 shooting. 

With their eleventh loss in a row, the Cadets fall to 6-16 overall this year and 0-8 within the GNAC. They'll return to action Saturday afternoon on the road against the Monks of Saint Joseph's College of Maine for a 2:00 tip-off in GNAC play.
