Norwich defeated Elmira College 2-1 on Saturday, March 17 at Kreitzberg Arena to win their second national championship and first since 2011. The Cadets finished the 2018 season with a remarkable 27-1-3 record and finished on an 18-game unbeaten streak.

This will mark the second straight year a Norwich University ice hockey team will be honored by the Boston Red Sox after the men's ice hockey team was invited down last year after winning their fourth national championship.
