Fitzpatrick enters her fourth season as the women's ice hockey full-time assistant coach in 2018-19.
Fitzpatrick was a four-year player for the Cadets that helped build the foundation for Norwich women's hockey program from the ground up. She helped guide Norwich to four straight NCAA Tournament appearances and was a member of the Cadets' national championship squad in 2011. In her third season in her return to her alma mater, she helped guide Norwich to the 2018 NCAA Division III National Championship.
Fitzpatrick skated in 70 career games, totaling six goals and 13 assists for 19 points splitting time between defense and forward. In her senior season, she established career highs with four goals and five assists for nine points in 22 games played.
She was a two-sport athlete at Norwich, also excelling on the lacrosse field. She helped guide Norwich to three straight Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances, while scoring 80 goals and 30 assists for 110 points.
Fitzpatrick, a Falmouth, Maine native, returns to Northfield after one-year stints at both Endicott College and the Univ. of New England as an assistant coach. She is first female inductee into her high school sports Hall of Fame at Chevrus High School.
