NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Norwich University wrestling team hosted their first home match of the 2018-19 season on Wednesday night, defeating the Panthers of Plymouth State by a 48-9 final score.
Norwich controlled the action end-to-end, winning all but two of their head to head matchups. The Cadets ended the match on a high note, as Daniel Curran (Peterborough, N.H.), Michael Wagner, and Ronnie Caudill (Huber Heights, Ohio) all pinned their opponents to close out the match and seal up the 48-9 victory.
The Cadets will enter their winter break between semesters, not returning to the mat until January 13th when they travel to the Coast Guard Academy to compete with the hosting Bears, Johnson & Wales, and the University of Southern Maine.
