Wrestling: Norwich defeated by Springfield, 32-12

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Norwich University wrestling team traveled to Springfield College on Wednesday afternoon, falling to the Pride by a 32-12 score in duals action.

Jacob Forsman (Voorhees, N.J.) got the Cadets on the board with a victory at 133-pounds, taking down Jacques St. Jean by Fall (0:32). Daniel Curran (Peterborough, N.H.) picked up three points with an 8-2 decision victory over Nick Almonte at 174-pounds, and Satchel Stauffer rounded out the scoring with a SV-1 11-9 over George Tarwo at the 197-pound level. 

The Cadets will next travel to the NEWA Dual Championships at the Providence Career & Technical Academy on Sunday, January 20th. After that will be the long-anticipated All-Academy Championships coming to Norwich for the first time in its 25 years of existence on January 26th.
