Zorya Webster women's soccer action vs. Colby Sawyer

WESTON, Mass. - The Norwich University women's soccer team fell 6-2 to Regis College on Wednesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.

Freshman Karyssa Lachance (Gorham, N.H.) scored her team-leading eighth goal of the season, while sophomore Zorya Webster (Corning, N.Y.) added her second tally of the season in a wild first half that featured seven total goals. Despite the goals by Lachance and Webster, Norwich (6-5-1, 3-5-1 GNAC) found itself trailing 5-2 to at halftime to the Pride.

Freshman goalkeeper Kim Watt (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) made 10 saves for the Cadets in goal as she was pressured throughout the game with 16 shots on target and 25 total attempts from the Pride.

With the loss, Norwich dropped to ninth in the GNAC standings and could desperately use a win at Simmons on Saturday morning to try and stay in the playoff hunt.
