Swimming & Diving: Myers Named Interim Head Coach

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - JP Myers was named the Interim Head Coach of the Norwich Swimming & Diving programs by NU Athletic Director Tony Mariano on November 13th, 2018.

Myers returns to The Hill after a stellar four-year career, in which he was a member of four consecutive GNAC Invitational Championship teams. He was a standout in both swimming and diving events.

"I am very excited to take on this position." Myers said, "This group has a passion for pushing themselves and learning what they can do better to become better athletes and that inspires and drives me to provide them with the best program I can give them. If we continue with the momentum we have picked up from the last few months I feel we will be a strong competitor in our conference meets in February and replace some of the names on our record board."

JP holds school records in the 50 yard breaststroke (27.43) and the 100 yard breaststroke (1:00.64) and also swam legs on the record-holding 200 and 400 yard medley relay teams.

The Cadets are next in action on Saturday, December 1st at the Bridgewater State Invitational.
