Swimming & Diving: Ansley, Carls Honored by NEISDA

OFFICIAL CONFERENCE RELEASE

WESTON, Mass. - Freshman Nikky Ansley (Berlin, Germany) and sophomore Sarah Carls were both honored by the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association with weekly honors, the league announced Wednesday.

Ansley was named the Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season while Carls puulled in her first Diver of the Week honor from NEISDA.

Ansley has continued her undefeated season with two best in season times. Nikky won the 200 Free (2:03.28), 50 Free (25.24), 100 free (55.51) and assisted the 200 Free Relay (1:48.39) to a 1st place with a split time of 25.33.

Carls won the women's 1 meter 6 diving event with a score of 178.05 while competing against a strong opponent with SUNY Potsdam.

The Cadets are back in the pool on Saturday, November 9th for a home meet against Babson College and Regis (Mass.) at 1:00 p.m.
